The experience of life can be overwhelming, isolating, and confusing. Jacquelyn brings a refreshing open minded, energetic, curious, compassionate, relatable, personable approach to her work, tailoring the therapeutic environment to each of her client’s unique needs. She focuses on guiding her clients to explore their concerns to build a greater understanding of the different aspects of their experience, from the emotional, mental, and physical to the family, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions, ensuring that her interventions are person-centered, culturally aware, evidence-based, and often integrates body centered, mindfulness, and creative approaches into her work.

Jacquelyn works diligently to meet the specific and unique needs of each client to create an environment that provides trust, compassion, and validation. Jacquelyn’s background is in working with adults, the military, youths, adolescents, families and groups. She is a Troy University graduate with a master's degree in Social work. Jacquelyn is a licensed LMSW, and is a certified trauma professional, EMDR trained with a holistic systems-based perspective, LGBTQ training, suicide prevention training. 

Jacquelyn’s current practice focuses on supporting adults and teens in navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and corresponding changes in identity and relationships. She works with depressive disorders, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, anxiety and panic disorders, issues related to trauma, grief, the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as with mood related disorders, transitions, workplace stress, ad maladaptive relationship dynamics. Jacquelyn’s goal is to ensure that each client feels heard, supported, and empowered.
